At our hotel, Aeolis Tinos Suites, we believe hospitality is an art form that blends the tranquility of the landscape with the authenticity of experience. In keeping with this philosophy, we recently had the distinct honor and pleasure of welcoming one of the most acclaimed food journalists and restaurant critics in Greece, Tasos Mitselis.
Known for his refined taste and discerning eye, Tasos Mitselis of FNL found a sanctuary of Cycladic serenity at Aeolis. We sincerely hope his time on Tinos and at our property offered him moments of inspiration, relaxation, and authentic delight against the backdrop of the endless blue of the Aegean Sea.
The highlight of his visit was, of course, the culinary journey at our restaurant, Trattoria Napole Zoga. There, he had the opportunity to experience firsthand the cuisine of our acclaimed Head Chef, Dimitris Karousiotis. The chef’s culinary identity is deeply connected to Greek tradition, showcasing a unique mastery of fresh fish and seafood, which lies at the very heart of our philosophy.
A connoisseur like Tasos Mitselis, who appreciates the purity of flavor—from zucchini blossoms to fine Burgundies—finds a natural dialogue with our cuisine. Every dish, inspired by the Aegean and created with seasonal, local ingredients, is a tribute to the island’s gastronomic heritage. His choice to embark on this experience honors not only our kitchen but also Tinos itself.
It was a great pleasure to have him with us. The doors of Aeolis and Trattoria Napole Zoga will always be open, and we eagerly await the joy of welcoming him back again.
